SENCO Reflective Practice Supervision Group

Objectives: 

For SENCOs to be part of a one-year reflective practice group where the work of members is enhanced through guided planning, discussion, reflection and presentation, leading to improved outcomes for children and families as well as positive impact on practitioner well-being.

Cost:  £250 for the year

Dates: Half termly. Thursdays 5th Oct, 30th Nov 2023, 1st Feb, 21st March, 16th May and 4th July 2024

Facilitator: Emma Westwood,  Assistant Headteacher, Perseid School on behalf of Merton Special Training Association.

Emma is Assistant Head and Head of Early Years at Perseid School, having taught in both mainstream and special schools for the past 10 years. Emma is a member of the Perseid School Behaviour Support Team, a PROACT SCIPr-UK Instructor, a Signalong Tutor and regularly provides training on ASD, Challenging Behaviour and Early Language Development. Emma is involved in an extensive range of outreach work with local mainstream and special schools to support specific students, develop schemes of work and facilitate staff development

Delivery: Blended - sessions 1, 3 and 6  face to face at Perseid Upper School and sessions 2, 4 and 5 remotely via zoom.
